Hello everyone..

Nice to see you again. For this entry, we were asked to tell about our childhood . okay, first of all, when we got this title for our entry, we were smiled and no doubt we were laughing. why? because childhood is a very greatest moment in our life! playing all time with no worry, no problems, it's all about happy and enjoy every moment! how we miss that time! :)

here we want to share about our games during childhood. there are so many activities that fullfil our free time. i don't think new generation nowadays have same feeling with us. 

first activity is.....

 

Do you know this game?

 marbles, often played during free time. this game need a lot of marbles and played two more more persons. this game is really fun,yeah, since there are no gadjet on that time. the rules are simple. place your bet (marbles) in the circle drawn on land and bet will hit use with another marble called core. bet that out of circle will be yours. most interesting about this game you can kill other player by hit their core! game will end when all bet out or only one player stay! now you know the rules, wait you waiting for? go get your marbles now!!

second activity..

the most exciting activity during childhood. river bath! we have a lot of enjoyment! how about you? haha. rules? the only rules of this activity, you need to know how to swim,indeed! dont dare to try if you lack of that skill or else you are a dead meat! owh, i might add one more rules. you must have guard! it is nothing only for your safety. hehehe

and the last but not least...

catch fish at paddy field during harvest! dirty? no! it is just mud! when we were child some of us often went to paddy field to catch fish! there are alot of fish on that season. we do not why.. we never ask and never being asked! all we know only its fun. fish catched usually will be our dinner on that night. TASTY! the most delicous is "ikan Haruan bakar" with soy sauce plus some lime to "kick" out its taste! beside fish for eat, there is another excitement in paddy field, fighting fish! Of course there is game too about fighting fish. Fish Fight. i named it myself i think. hahaha. game is easy, catch your own  fighting fish and bring it on arena. the fight is one versus one. put fishes in one container and the strongest and fiercest one will be winner! a litle bit cruel but dont be mad at us we are just kids on that moment.

there is a lot of enjoyment during childhood. play and play. run here, run there. a lot of smiled and a lot of laugh. kid's smile is a symbol of peaceful. now it is our responsible as adult to keep their smile, from generation to generation.

Taboo is one of those seldom words in the English language that doesn't have Greek or Latin or French roots,instantly coming from the South Pacific Islands in the 18th century by the explorer Captain Cook. For many islanders some things weretabu, means not only could they not be done but they could not be talked about either for risk of offending the Gods meaning it is still applies today (spiritual underpinning is not count), when we say that certain subjects are "taboo" meaning off-limits for discussion.

For instance

Sigmund Freud stated generally there were only two taboos(incest and patricide) that formed the basis of civilization. However, although cannibalism, in-group murder, and incest are taboo in the majority of societies, modern scientific has found  an exceptions for each and no taboo is  known to be universal.

Generally, taboos involve restrictions or ritual regulation of killing and hunting; sex and sexual relationships for the primarily, incest, necrophilia, miscegenation, , fornication, pedophilia,homosexuality and masturbation while reproduction are abortion and infanticide.In other hand,the deceased and their grave,food and dining for the primarily cannibalism and dietery rules such as vegetarianism, kashrut, and halal other is bodily functions primarily menstrual cycle but also defecation and urination

 Function

Both communist and materialist theorists have debated that taboos can be practised to take apart the histories of societies when other records are lacking. Marvin Harris particularly endeavored to explain taboos as a result of ecologic and economic conditions.
